Team Members: Due to scheduling conflicts, we have been forced to move the RACES/CERT meeting to the third Tuesday of each month starting this month. The 开云体育 calendar has been updated to reflect this move of our next meeting to the 19th. We greatly hope this won't be problematic. A couple of other topics: Don't forget that we are participating in the Simulated Emergency Test on Oct 7th. We'll be meeting at the NRC (same as our regular meeting) at 8am where we will hold a short briefing followed by a deployment in an area in teams of two. Once the exercise is over the operators will reconvene at the NRC for a quick Hotwash. The entire exercise should be done by 1pm. Please send reply to this email to indicate your ability and interest to participate. And please remember that Saturday the 16th we will be doing an inventory and equipment check on the CERT trailer. We will empty, inventory and restock the trailer and, if time allows, we'll give the trailer exterior an scrub and a buff. We'll meet at the NRC and go from there over to the Fleet Center. If you haven't seen what all is in the trailer this is a great opportunity to learn. Lastly is that at the end of this month I will no longer be maintaining the old email list of past team members. 开云体育 will be the primary communications tool. If you have not set up a profile and joined the RACESCERTWYCOKS group please do so now.
