Auxcomm voice net today + additional information
开云体育Today’s NCS will be Max, KE8DON, from Michigan.? ? Beginning with today’s net, I’m asking all NCS’s to call for check-ins by state, with each state called one at a time, on each mode. NCS’s, please call the states alphabetically (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin) and report the state for each station checking in. ? One other note: 60 meters has not been a good performer for us recently during the daytime hours (understatement) and 40 meters has been generally too long until much later in the day. Both of these conditions make it very important for NCS’s to utilize stations at a distance to make net calls on their behalf and relay any station check-ins back to the NCS. These stations do not need to make their net calls by state.? ? Poor daytime HF conditions should be anticipated (depressed performance on the sun-facing side of the Earth, especially on lower frequencies, until we get further along in the new sunspot cycle) for the next several months. This also justifies why we always test our digital voice capabilities. ? Please join us at 2000Z! ? Eastern Central ? 1600?? 1500????
