DMR????????????????????R5AUXCOMM (31673) We’ve experienced several solar flares over the past 56 hours, and there continues to be a 55% of at least a C-Class flare today.? Flares are short-lived events but they can significantly reduce HF propagation during the daytime with lower frequencies more affected than higher ones.? Keep this in mind, especially during the 60 meter portion of the net.? Hopefully we’ll get a break in the solar activity today.? ? ? ? Auxcomm Net at 3PM CDT / 4PM EDT today
开云体育Today is the first Sunday of the month, so we’re due for our regional voice net at 2000Z.? That’s 3:00 PM CDT, 4:00 PM EDT.? Dave, W9PFD from Illinois will be the NCS today. Following the recommendation of the regional committee, effective with today’s net, the 40-Meter portion of the net will be conducted on 7280 KHz and down (instead of 7180 KHz and up) due to crowded conditions in the 7175-7230 range of the band. There are no guarantees that this will resolve the problem, of course, but we’re going to give it a try.
