Match Time Tree
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI don¡¯t think I¡¯ve seen anyone comment yet on the Match Time Tree. It¡¯s a very useful new visual display for Big Y testers though you need to have some Big Y matches to get anything out of the feature. Here¡¯s a blog post from FTDNA about the new report: ? ? Debbie Kennett |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýEd ? I thought the same. And I like the share button that allows us to share the tree while privatising the names of the matches. ? Debbie ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of ejsteele56 via groups.io

Before, it seemed that in order to make sense of who was who, one had to go back and forth between the Time Tree and the Block Tree. This way it is all in one place. ? Ed _._,_._,_ |
Just wanted to report another good aspect of the new Match Time Tree. A new tester who was recently added to a haplogroup to which I match just got assigned to a new haplogroup. When I checked the Match Time Tree just now, it has removed him from the branch where he appeared originally, but a text box popped up telling me the new haplogroup to which he was assigned, and that it will be added in the weeks to come.
?
So, it really is updating quicker than I expected, and giving information of pending changes which is very helpful. In fact, it has updated even before the new haplogroup has been added to the Block Tree.
