Dear Members and Friends of QCECG: The Town is hosting Spring Into QC at Mansel Carter Oasis Park on?Saturday, March 28, 2020.? The Town's Recreation Services Division has requested volunteers from QCECG to assist with directions and communications to the public (5), roaming support for event leadership (2, see note below), and logistics support at the Egg Hunt area (2). A total of 9-13 volunteers will be needed.? Nine (9) will come from QCECG and four (4) from CERT. We always like to have a buffer so I would like to have a total of at least 10 volunteers from QCECG to support this event. There
are two paved parking areas.? One to the north and one to the south of
the park.? The south parking lot will be closed to the public and used
for vendors only.? It will be closed at 8:30 a.m. Most
of the assistance is going to be needed to direct the public to parking
in the north paved lot and for traffic control in the overflow lot. I have attached the event map for 2020. CERT Volunteer roles:
