Mine go through a piece of sewer pipe so no connector needed. Also leaves room for another cable for your next Antenna. ?I have six coax cables and a rotator cabe. ?Tower Electronics in Wisconsin sells pl259 barrels up to 12 inches long. ?No Mount needed just drill. 5/8 inch hole and put a nut on each end inside and outside.

Hello Ron, You may want to consider using the long threaded barrel connectors instead.? They work very well and no soldering on the SO-239 needed.? They come in almost any length you need.? Just put a face plate on both sides and you are good to go, and it looks professionally done. ? Dennis KF7RYX ?

Today is the last RUSS event until next "season". We encourage participation by all emergency minded and self-reliant hams. Today's RUSS is a bit unique given the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage participants to operate from their own backyard off grid, on grid, whatever it takes to get on the air. The objective is to exercise your skills, your equipment, and interact with other participants. It runs from 10 AM to 2 PM today. FM simplex check-ins will be on 146.46 MHz and encode your transmissions with CTCSS 77 Hz if possible. HF check-ins will be on 7.178 MHz. The HF check-ins and QSOs will be streamed live at: RUSS Descriptions
Important - Just because you may be operating from home, be safe and follow best practices and safety at all times!
