P800 Issue

Thanks to some help on another forum I resolved my printer connection issue yesterday. ?I was able to print fine for the rest of the day but then today a new issue cropped up. I tried to print using Print Tool and when I select the print command the printer feeds the material and then just runs it all the way through with no image. This is Mac OS 14 and a P800 printer. This is a new issue to me and my searches here do not come up with a result. ?I have tried reloading Print Tool, rebooting the Mac and the printer, trying different material (paper). ?
Any ideas?

When that happens to me when printing a DTP plate, it typically is resolved by making a new carrier. I am surprised that the same thing happened when you print on a different paper. The next thing I would try is printing a nozzle check on some copier paper to make sure it it isn¡¯t a nozzle issue.?

When my P900 needs a nozzle check or head clean, the only way it tells me is by running the sheet through the printer without printing anything.

Allan, thanks. ? I do a nozzle check before every print session. No problem there.?

Hi Clay, I have had it happen printing DTP but never printing negatives using Pictorico. I did a nozzle check as always and no issue there. ?It happens with plain paper as well.

This morning I deleted and reinstalled QTR and Print Tool and tried printing again with Print Tool with the same result, the film (and paper) feed and then get ejected. ?Then I tried printing through Photoshop using QTR and It did the same thing. I finally tried printing through Photoshop without QTR and it worked fine. So, my conclusion at this point is that it is not a printer issue, but a QTR issue.?
?
I have never had an issue like this before and suspect it is a compatibility issue between QTR and Mac OS14. Thoughts??

I had the same problem last week printing multiple DTP plates using a carrier - 3880, QTR,Print Tool,? - I resolved? it? by? closing? the? front? feed tray after each print, and re-opening it when prompted? to after clicking on print.? I have absolutely no idea why this works? - but it does .? Worth a try before ant more drastic solutions.

Berel, thanks but I am not using the front feed tray. I am printing negatives using Pictorico and the sheet feed.
