I've been working on getting my Paul Roark inspired inkset going in the SC7600 (MK+PK+4 Dilutions of PK+Toner). ?So far so good on most fronts, I was able to create a very good profile on some matte paper using all 6 K inks. ?I've been working on a profile for a lustre/glossy paper (Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag) using the 5 PK inks. ?Everything seemed to be working fine, made a profile, linearized it, double checked linearization. ?But when I printed the torture test, there is a section that prints in the darker midtones that are not smooth, almost look molted/speckled. ? I've made a scan of it and drew a box around where it shows up (it shows up in every section of the torture test print in this area). ?I've also attached my profile file.
Any thoughts on what's going on / how to resolve? ? Thank you all!
