Re: Digest Number 9
I think it behaves like that when you try to print anything other than a TIFF...QTR won't work with other formats so you have to save PSD or GIF or whaever as

Re: QTR and MacOSX 2.8 with Epson 2200
The three most likely things that could be wrong are:
1) With Jaguar (OS X 10.2) you need the ghostscript package.
This is a separate download -- see ReleaseNotes.
2) Jaguar has a problem using

QTR and MacOSX 2.8 with Epson 2200
Yesterday I downloaded QTR. Everything seems to be in the right

appears in Print Center. The problem is that nothing happens when I
press print. I
don't even get an error message.

QTR for OSX and XP Are they comparable?
Does the OSX version work exactly as does the XP version. For
example,
can the OSX version print at 2880 with the 2200?

Re: QTR profiles
Steve;
Thanks for your help. I had mistakenly trashed the beta 9 file after original installation, and of course lost the curves folder.

Thanks to Scott for setting up this group.
He was right that it was about time to have a separate group.

Re: QTR Newbie
Ross,
The curves are used for toning (warm print tone vs cool print tone)
They apply equally throughout tonal (highlights and shadow) range.
The sliders allow you to blend different % of warm and

Ross,
I, too, am fairly new to QTR. I demoed it for several weeks and just sent Roy my 'shareware' for it since I decided its the best thing I've found thus far (affordable at least) for monoprints

Re: [Quadtone RIP] Curves for Epson 2200/2100
Sorry, I mean 'curve' when I say 'profile'. People sort of get confused no matter which terms we use. Some people expect something called a 'curve' to be a photoshop curve while others expect a

If the Epson PK ink is warm, that may explain the problem. I've just
purchased the Epson 2100, getting good colour results on Ilford Luster

Re: [Quadtone RIP] Curves for Epson 2200/2100
Hi Diane,
Yes I’m using Windows XP.
QTR is installed and I just use the QTR GUI which as I’m sure you’re
aware is the stand-alone app which replaces the Epson driver.
I guess my main problem
