Re: New to QTR and need help
Looks like your ink limits are too high. I think the default limit for the 7600 should be about 50 and the light ink limits correspondingly lower. Also, in your linearization line the dmax 3.50 is

Re: gossy or luster prints

Re: 2200 Photo Black or Matte Black
Michael,
You definitely want to use the matte black cartridge on all matte and

Does anyone else see a need to "Free Edit" Curves?
QTR for Windows has a lot of nice features. I like the auto
partitioning of gray inks. I'm using a MIS UT7 inkset on my 2200.
I created a lovely neutral profile using 5 of the 7 inks in the

Re: Preview with QTR, PS and Windows XP
I have an action written by Carl Schofield which allows you to 'sort of ' approximate the blends of 2 curves. However, I've found that it doesn't help a great deal--my step wedges work as well. Soft

Re: Preview with QTR, PS and Windows XP
Jean-Marc,

Attn: Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar users
There's seems to be a problem with running the new QTR version 2.2a
on Jaguar -- it works fine on Panther. So for the time being if you
are still using the Jaguar OS stay with QTR version

Heavy Chocolate Brown Profile?
I'VE POSTED THIS ON THE B&W SITE AS WELL.
I'm sorry to say that I don't have an eye-one, only an X-Rite 400
densitometer. I've switched from a 7500, which I've had monumental
