MMDVM not sure what port to use?

I'm attempting to use a D-Star radio on Terminal mode with the Raspberry Pi and data cable.
I'm down to step 5/6 of the MMDVM.README and when I start MMDVM
./MMDVMHost MMDVM.qn
I get this:
Cannot open device - \\.\COM3

I'm not sure what i need set the port to?

You reading the wrong readme. For terminal mode QnetGateway, use ITAP.README.

That was it!

Got it running and tested successful!

Thanks Tom, pretty awesome you can get online with only a pi and internet connection if you have a terminal mode radio and no repeater near by!

As for as ircdbb login, I just put my call sign in the qn.cfg was that right?

Correct. That will set you Quadnet login as well as the hot-spot/repeater callsign.

Glad you got it working! I like this mode with my 4100 in my car. Even traveling around in the desert with all of the cellular dead spots I can end up driving through, I stay connected to DSTAR2 or QNET20 C and the conversation comes back as soon as I exit the dead spot.

It seems like the only problem I'm having is that when my mobile cold boots, I sometimes won't connect to QuadNet right away. I may have to do an "????? RX" once or twice to get the system properly initialized. I though the changes to the *.service scripts would fix that, but I still have something to learn here.
