Using Qnet to link Icom Dstar UHF repaeter to a XLX Dstar reflector.

First off, thanks for developing such a useful ham radio program.?
Let me say that I am by no means an expert of doing things like what I have been trying to do, so I apologize if this is an elementary task, bear with me.
I am trying to help a radio club in Georgia link their UHF Icom Dstar repeater to a XLX Reflector that I host on a simple debian server that is located in Utah. The Repeater has a public facing static IP address as does my XLX reflector. Would I be able to use Qnet, installed on a Raspberry pi3B+, to link to the repeater, and then connect the Qnet on the pi to my XLX reflector? Allowing the clubs repeater to have reflector access. Or would it make more sense to install Qnet on my debian server that also host my XLX reflector and accomplish the same goal?
Once again forgive me for my ignorance, but I am very willing to learn and do the work to make this happen.

Traditionally the repeater would make the connection to the reflector via an internal command or via RF by a user. The reflector does not generate an outbound connection request to a D-STAR repeater.
?
Please do NOT use your station as a ¡°bridge¡± from the repeater to any reflector without coordinating such an effort between the repeater owner and the reflector admin. There may be other connections not apparent that would/could cause unnecessary loops or network conflicts.
?
Talk the repeater owner and let them be your guide in how to pursue your end goal.

Yes....... Pursuing this with the blessings of the repeater admin. The repeater is running Icom software and does not allow linking to a non "US Trust" reflector. Just looking for something that I can do on my end to find a viable workaround.
Thanks

I run QNet IcomGateway on a Pi 3 connected to my first gen Icom DStar repeater in Dallas GA.? QNet connects to my XLX reflector; which is on Digital Ocean.? Works very well.??

Look me up on QRZ if you would like chat about it.
