This group is growing rapidly in the last couple of months. ?I would like to ask everybody to check their display name. ?This way, when you post a message, everybody knows who it is coming from instead of a difficult to decode default name in some cases.

You will need to go to the QSO Party group:?/g/QSOParty. ?You will also need to be logged in. ?From there, click Subscription in the upper left part of the page. ?Then click Group Profile near the top. ?Here, you can upload a picture for yourself, if you want to. ?Perhaps one of you ready to cross many county lines. ?Then click Edit Group Profile and scroll down and find Display name. ?Change that to your first name and call sign, for example.

From there, an optional step is to click on Membership near the top of the page and set whatever options there you want.

If you read messages from this group (or any groups.io group) on an email client such as Thunderbird, Apple mail, a Web-based interface provided by your ISP or whatever as long as it is not through groups.io, pay attention to the bottom line of the emails. ?If an email thread seems to have run its course and you do not want to see any more of those messages, click Mute This Topic. ?This will take you to groups.io where you will confirm your intention then (its magic!) no more messages on that topic to your email reader. ?You can still read them from groups.io.
