On November 26 at the home QTH I had a qso on 10m ssb with HD8CW who was on a dxpedition in the Galapagos Islands that was sponsored by Buddipole. He was using an IC 7300 running 100 watts to a Buddipole Hexbeam and working the world¡¡huge pile-up and all paid for by our friends at Buddipole. Hey guys there are some possibilities here. Think of an all expenses paid dx adventure to some beautiful tropical island in the far Marquesas with minimal equipment to shlep. I¡¯m thinking of our more intrepid colleagues(are you listening Dave C, Paul Z, Hiroki?). Something to ponder perhaps.
