I'd like to go to Death Valley sometime in February or early March to
operate portable/qrp. Dave Crocker, W6VYC, and I did this last year and
had a great time. I took my small RV and Dave drove. We camped in
Texas Springs which is a newly updated campground near Furnace Creek. I
don't have a specific time as I'm flexible. Let me know if there is
interest and what time(s) would work for you.

Hi Guys,

I've been planning to go to Death Valley again this year too. But I also want to connect up with the artist group that regularly shows up at Texas Springs campground, so will probably go at the same time as last year... early Jan. If work pushes back my schedule, I'll try to time my trip to overlap yours. It's a blast to operate from the lowest place in N. America. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.
