Sorry about the extra "h". I already have a QMX, built by my husband.?

I built 95% of my QCX mini for 20 m. I had my husband do the soldering of anything that was close to SMD's. I didn't want to spend all those hours and hours working on it to have it ruined by my poor soldering skills near an SMD.

?

After I thought the QCX mini was finished and before the enclosure was on, I connected it to my home antenna to see if I could hear anything. I immediately heard Steve Galchutt, . I decided to call him on the QCX mini and to my amazement he came back to me. I was so excited that he was my first contact on a rig I had built. I sent him an email and he sent me a recording of our contact. He is such a class guy.
