I watched a video and was not impressed.? ?It looks very similar to the ax1 in size, and probably works the same.?

After putting up the mc-750, which takes 3-5 minutes, I don't understand why anyone would spend all that money on a severely compromised antenna when you can have a full 1/4 wave vertical for less than $50.? The MC-750 isn't less than $50, but the clone is.? My parts are supposed to be here today.? ?I can't wait.?
 

I will wait for Doug's experimental methods in RF design pulling RF from the sky.
