The different ratings for CW and SSB suggest that the limitation is heating not voltage. CW/digital/FM are all "full power" when transmitting.

Cliff, I just looked at the specs for the Alex Loop newer model and it says "10 W on CW/digital/FM and 25 W on SSB.' ?So depending on what mode you could do 25W. Joy
