I had used an AlexLoop (early version with LMR-400 resonator loop, owned by Vic) initially with great results. This addicted me to mag loops and I went for the Alpha thinking it was built better and therefore would be a better performer. It was better mechanically, but sadly not electrically due to the bug I documented.?
I am seeing about acquiring a lightly-used AlexLoop (current version) and will update shortly.
