QRSS TX Mod and Japanese QRSS situation
"Hide"
Hi friends,
I've uploaded my mod. of the QRSS TX kit. I added the BCD Switch to select the 8-transmitting mode. It works fine without adding the pull down resisters. Please see the photos into "Photos -> JA9MAT". BTW... I use the small 5V-DC Switching Power Module and got about 200mW at peak but now down to 100mW.A 2N700 has a little hot but seems no problem for 24hours work. My antenna is G5RV tuned to 30m band with tuner. I QRV last night but no grabber response to me... A 100mW is so small to be received in Europe and even in Oceania. No JA or Asian station QRV on QRSS mode here so it seems difficult to confirm my signal.I must confirm my signal by myself. I'm envious with European QRSS staions. So many QRSS signals appears into the grabber display. I wish if I were you. hi. I have another QRSS transmitter it's out power is 1.5W and also 5W with adding the IRF510 linear amplifier. But it's not suitable for continuous carrier transmission. It used for QRSS3,6 and DFCW mode. Thanks for nice kit supply,73. ja9mat Hidehiko. |
