QMX+ Vishay NPO 680pF capacitor spec
#parts
I cannot believe that I put C515 where D508 goes.? Stupid mistake.? Discovered it right away, but I destroyed the part getting it out.
I need to buy a replacement. I see it is 680 pF NPO by Vishay, but I do not know voltage, tolerance, etc.?? Also, if you have a favorite US source for low quantity orders, I would appreciate it.?? Thanks, Mark |
Yeah, it's hard to get around shipping expenses for onesy-twosy parts.
Digikey and Mouser are reliable sources, but not set up for small orders. (I think if you look closely you can find a cheaper shipping option for Digikey.) Adafruit is not unreasonable for shipping. Or Ebay, while slightly more risky, often has people shipping for free.? Sorry I don't have the part spec's for you. |
No replies yet on the specs for this capacitor.? This is in a low pass filter, so it will see some voltage.??
Based on the markings, this is a Vishay/BC capacitor.?? On Digikey, I see a 50V 5% NPO through-hole 2.5mm spacing that looks similar. No minimum order and less than 6 USD for 3-day shipping to correct my mishap. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/vishay-beyschlag-draloric-bc-components/K681J15C0GF53L2/2823740 My only question is whether or not 50V is enough for this application. Any idea what voltage the lowest frequency LPF might see? Mark W8GU |
Yes we use the 2.5mm spaced 50V rated Vishay NP0/C0G from Digikey. The price for US domestic shipping is $4.99.? 73 Hans G0UPL On Sat, Jun 8, 2024, 19:47 w8gu via <w8gu=[email protected]> wrote: No replies yet on the specs for this capacitor.?
