QMX V2 and MAC Air M2 - connecting for digital
My QMX works fine for CW, but I am unable to connect it to my MacAir M2 for digital modes. I am using TS-440S as transceiver type and?/dev/tty.usbmodem1101 as my serial port and CAT for PTT method. I am able to get the receive and transmit buttons to light green and red. I am also getting an increased current draw and on screen there is a solid line under the band letter A,? indicating, according to the manual, that all is well for transmitting.
But I am not able to receive signals. I just get horizontal green lines and nothing else on the WSJT waterfall. So, sound is not getting from the QMX to the computer program. (I can hear the signals if I listen through the audio port on QMX.) I'm sure I am missing something simple. Can someone suggest what it might be? Phil K3UT |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýPhil,What did you set as the receive audio card in the Wsjtx Audio config? Maybe a screen shot of that page would be helpful. 73, Cliff, AE5ZA

Here are three screen shots. I am using Kenwood TS-440S (don't have TS-440 in drop down). I see the QMX transceiver in audio input and output dropdown and am using them. And all is see in the main screen of WSJT are solid green lines. Headphones in QMX audio output ?lets me hear FT8 sounds. If I press TUNE in WSJT, I get current draw of about 580ma, and the QMX has a solid line, indicating according to the manual that all is good. Thanks for your thoughts. Phil K3UT |
