I gave JTDX a try with my QMX this morning with all the same settings I use for WSJT-X. But like I've seen reported for FLDigi and the Android JT8 software, JTDX goes into transmit for a second or so, then drops out of TX mode. I do have the output audio, PWR slider all the way up to the top in JTDX (like I do in WSJT-X). I'm using Kenwood 440s for the Radio setting in both programs. |

coming over from this thread: /g/QRPLabs/topic/102344541 I am also having this problem, however, I found that using VOX allows me to continue using JTDX and it functions perfectly well. WSJT-X also works as expected for me when using CAT control. Tested on both mac and windows with the same results. Something is different with how JTDX is using the TS-440s commands maybe ? I tried other Kenwood radio options from the list and none of them would pass the CAT control test at all. I can live with using VOX in JTDX with CAT control for freq/band changes I guess, but it's less than ideal. Sure I could use WSJT-X, but .. i prefer JTDX. |

Hello Roy and Rudi I had the same problem with my qdx, that JTDX was spontaneously ending the TX before the end of the 15s. The solution for this problem for me was setting the 2s poll interval to a longer period. For example 50s. You can find this setting under the tab radio behind the Kenwood 440s setting.
