QMX board faulty on delivery

Just unpacked my QMX board and done a visual sweep - C205 and C210 have been dislodged and they are way beyond my capability to reflow and have now dropped off completely and vanished.

Am I able to return the board for a replacement?

Nb not even started separating the boards...

Resoldering two-lead SMD components like resistors and capacitors isn't difficult and does not require reflow methods. It can be done with a soldering iron with a fine tip, tweezers, small solder, and solder wick to clean up the board. Unfortunately, SMD ceramic capacitors have no markings on the parts, so once they have fallen off (even if you still had them) you can't tell them apart by visual inspection. You would have to measure them with a capacitance meter or get replacement parts.

That said, if you don't feel you can handle the repair, Hans should be able to offer a resolution to your problem.

It's just a bit beyond what I'm comfortable with and I have no way of knowing/testing whether the caps had been damaged.?

Just waiting to hear from Hans/QRP Labs as to what we can do.?

Not really. Beyond my capability to get them back in whether I had them or not.?
