The instruction photo is pretty clear and I can see part of the + sign on what is supposed to be the top of the battery. But when I put a voltmeter on the pins (before installation) I see a - 0.3 volts. That's a negative residual voltage on a new battery. Is that going to be a problem or is that normal for this type of battery.

I have zero experience with this type of battery and I have no idea what to expect.
