QCX-mini: No RF on transmit #30m

 

Hello,

My pre-assembled QCX-mini (30m) no longer transmits (in CW or WSPR mode). I recently replaced the the firmware with a new ATmega328 chip.
Any tips on first steps to diagnose the problem?

Hi Bob. If it was working until you replaced the chip then I would suggest re-installing the older one and see if it works again.?

Thanks Ron. I'm not sure it was transmitting prior to replacing the chip (since it wasn't used in quite a while, but can give that a try.

Hi Ron,

I finally got around to replacing the older chip in the QCX-mini. Indeed, it now transmits CW (I haven't tested WSPR mode yet).
