QCX firmware 1.00d release

 

Hi all

QCX firmware version 1.00d is released. You don't need to upgrade unless you particularly want/need one of these changes. Changes in this version:

- Bug fix: During CW message sending, the displayed frequency was the beacon frequency, not VFO?
- Bug fix: CW-R mode did not work (receiving on the lower sideband rather than usual upper)

As usual, you can download the .hex file from?/g/QRPLabs/files/Firmware%20for%20QCX%20kit/1.00d or purchase a programmed chip in the shop if you wish?

Which chip did you use for the QCX. I am trying to detect the 328 or 328P in AVRDudess and it's not seeing either. I'm using and AVR MKII and it seems to be happy (two green lights and recognized)

The AVRDudess software with an Arduino isp detect an 328P.
I finished the kit and upgraded the firmware to 1.00d.

Some chips are ATmega328 and some are ATmega328P. It depends on what type I can get.?

Hi Hans,

does the 1.00d also contain the fix for the WSPR encoding (as described in?/g/QRPLabs/message/18134)? Or will this be included in a future release?
