QCX

I built 2 QCX's. A 40m and a 20M. Both worked perfectly until now. The 40 is still great, but the 20 will not receive stations. It still hears my external signal generator, but not in comimg stations.?
I've narrowed the problem to the first audio in the number 9Test Equipment/9.3 Audio. Ch.1 It is showing random numbers flashing between 45 and 53. I checked the 40M radio and in this same?
9.3 audio it is 14 with no flashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ron

Hi Ron. I replied to you yesterday but I got a notice today that my email account was ¡°bouncing¡± messages from the group.?

When you say your receiver is hearing your signal generator, can you tell us what level you have to send for it to hear the generator??

Also, please do a ?BPF alignment (menu 8.7) and let us know what level you see there.?

Thanks ¡¡ Ron

Hi Ron
Thanks for the reply. The signal gerator is sending out at 00.0300 Volts. The BPF is 7 and abour 3/4 across the screen. The radio is not calibrated yet. The Signal Generator is at 14.040 but?
raio is receiving at 14.036,

Ron... I found the problem. The BNC socket came loose. I guess I didn't put enough heat to it.
Thank you very much for replying. Have a good week... A very red faced Ron...73's
