Audio Setting on QMX +

Hello all,
?
in order to have a good audio volume on WSJT-x (the green slider on the left of the WSJTX screen) I adjusted the audio level per band and some had to be set up to 70 istead of the default 54. So far so good but now I can not turn down the audion for the headphones down to 0. No I don't have the headphones on in DIGI modes :-) , but that applies also to CW and there now the audio is too loud for me on some bands. Could the audion setting be different for Digi and CW or SSB ? I believe the default setting would be fine for any mode except DIGI.

So it seems you are suggesting that the current per-band audio level setting be effective only on the USB interface.? ?
?
It would be interesting to know how others use that setting.? Does anyone use that to equalize CW or SSB volume?

I have to also set the 'Audio Gain' to 75 and the higher bands to get the WSPR slider up to read green. However, I noticed my S meter seems to permanently read S9 now. I saw this in the QMX manual....
The absolute level of S0 will depend on the ¡°gain¡± setting per band, in the Band Configuration?
screen. It is independent of volume setting.?
?
So does this 'Audio Gain' setting affect volume setting as well? I have seen times when the headphone volume was way too loud (I only use Digi mode) and I wonder if it is when I change bands now? I am still using NON SSB firmware at the moment.
