Antenna System Multi-band

Hi

ON4AA has very good info on DIY 6-band OCFD antennas here:

Look for Multiband HF Center-Loaded OCFDs

Although living in New York City you could be arrested for having one and a ticket for putting an antenna up a tree so a vertical antenna on a fishing works here

Hi, Guys

A Wrist Rocket, a cheap fishing reel with monofilament, a one-ounce fishing sinker, and a roll of paracord. Attach the Wrist Rocket and fishing reel to a short piece of PVC pipe. Shoot the sinker over the top of the tree, and when it makes it to the ground (it will, trust it) remove the sinker and tie the paracord to the end of the line. Reel it in. For temporary use the paracord is insulator enough.

Try an arborist throw line. You can buy them on Amazon for $20-50 depending how nice you go. I saw this one on kmrd radio stuff YouTube channel:?

Also look for uv stable zips they are out there. I THINK the black ones are better about that.?

But yeah, check in a microwave to make sure they aren¡¯t conductive enough to absorb RF.

Plastic hangers work great- until they don't. The ones I've used in the past deteriorated ina short time in the sun. Not sure how to tell which will not have quick UV damage.

Wrist Rockets are also illegal in The Communist State Of Taxachusetts. ?

But I moved, so now I¡¯m Florida Man. ?

I use a golf ball with a screw eye screwed into it, tied to heavy fishing line. Spin it around and let it fly.

I use a spark plug socked the same way. Easy to spot cause its nice and shinny.
