Just got My QMX+ finished, and I am seeing similar performance on Tx. Mine starts off at over 5W on Top Band but goes down to just over 1W on 6m. I was goung to ask the question on here but spotted your post. Has anybody else seen this, am I unique or is this common? What power do others? see in the various bands?

Have made several contacts already but am a bit dissappointed with Tx performance..

Yep, same here - drops off quite a bit as frequency goes up, unfortunately. I've been meaning to play around with toroid wire spacing to see if I can get an improvement but in the mean time I've gone back to my mid-band QMX where I've got nearly solid 4-5 watts on all six bands. :-)

I've now sorted the power problem on 6m. It appears that the inductors L519 & L520 are super sensitive to turns spacing, tweaking those improved the O/P power, but the main improvement came when I removed a turn from both coils. I now have over 3W on all bands...

Hope this will help anybody else with a similar problem.
