Almost finished my QCX multiband transceiver


 

Well, in not so many words it is? "multiband"? ? but definately not portable and the wiring needs to be tidied up a lot!
It is though my qrp QCX corner in my shack. endless hours of fun..
still dreaming of a QSX.........?

Wow nicely integrated, as long as operator arm doesn't get tangled in the wires. I don't see 80m so we can't qso with my 80m qcx plus. Yeah a small garden vertical g7sed? Can get you on 80m.?

What are those nice power supplies?

thanks Curt...? power supplies are ex computer atx? ?and the 24v one (screwed down to 20v ) is from a 3d printer.. all dickied up courtesy of 3d print..
80m band here is a no go... background noise on a good night is s9 +10db

Awesome! Thanks for showing this. I'm just starting down that path with a 40m QCX+ built so far, and an order for two more, 60m and 80m, going in hopefully today. Waiting on PayPal and the bank to get off their laurels. I'll then have most of a 40/60/80 "system" in pieces and parts here at the homestead and really need to get off my own laurels and get it built and on the air.?

I'm a complete NOOB to CW but there's only one way to learn, by doing it so here goes nothing.

I envision winding up with something that looks similar to what you've done. My wife will LOVE it!

And you will love CW.? The bible tells us the Angel's celebrate whenever someone believes.? I understand it because I celebrate whenever I hear of a newcomer to CW.? Only difference is I sure ain't no angel... just ask the XYL.
