(1) Might it be useful if the main time display on the U3S, when automatically derived from a QLG2 source [page 21],? could have an offset applied (manually or automatically via lookup tables) to the LCD's? *displayed* time to allow for BST (daylight savings) i.e. it isn't then?always displaying Zulu time (but the Tx time is unaltered of course)?
(2) Pin 19 on the AVR is set to "key" with adjustable PTT delay [page 17] ... if there is a spare pin (perhaps the reserved pin 27?) , could it be set to be the inverse of pin 19?? It might be handy for latching changeover relays to switch the antenna from (say) a Rx to the U3S when it transmits, and back again at the end of Tx.? For example, I have a relay which wants a "high" on pin1 and a low on pin2 , vs a common 0V pin, to switch to the Tx port and then a low on 1 and a high on 2 to switch to the Rx port.
