The best software to use is now called vnaJ (note the case). It's Java based and works perfectly well on all OS's. https://vnaj.dl2sba.com/ ? -- - 73 de Andy - |
Hi Mike,
I have one of those mRS miniVNAs, and still have the CD that came with it (25 MB) , containing version 230 of the software, which the user manual says is good for Windows95/ME/XP/2000. Its been a few years since I used it and can't remember whether there were any software updates. I think I used Windows 8 and the German jVNA software last time, so I suggest you try jVNA (you will need to install java). I seem to recall that it was much bettter than the original s/w that came with the unit. I haven't got java or jVNA on my current PC, so I can't check it out at this time. Another for my to-do list! btw, I got my unit from Martin Lynch, as a long shot you could try asking them what they recommend now. Good luck Dave G3UHU |

I use the IgMiniVNA software written by F4CLB. IMHO, it is much better and easier to use than the original MRS software v2.30. Unfortunately F4CLB lost his IgMiniVNA source code in a disk crash many years ago and he had no backup... You can find a zipped copy of my IgMiniVNA folder here: No special installation required. Just unzip somewhere (but not in any Windows program folder!) and run IG_miniVNA.exe. 73 de Johan SM6LKM Mike Easterbrook wrote: Slgihtly off-topic - apologies...... but anyone any ideas where to download the software for the very original mrs Mini VNA.? Thanks to everyone who responded to my request.? In my haste to make sure the messages didn't get deleted, I decided to "mark as unread" & a combination of aged shaky hands & sleepy brain have conspired to delete all your precious info. Grateful if you could resend everything. Thanks 73 Mike? On Sat, 3 Dec 2022, 21:47 Mike Easterbrook via , <mike.easterbrook.2012=[email protected]> wrote:

Hi All Thanks for your re-sends & additional info. Much?appreciated. Downloaded igvna. Worked OK first try. So simple compared with original that I thought it wasn't working at first.? Antenna looks good, so now looking forward to firing up my "travel companion" QDX on 20m FT 8 from 9V1 land. 73 Mike On Sat, 3 Dec 2022, 23:59 Johan Bodin, <jbodin@...> wrote: > Mike Easterbrook wrote: |
