U4 tracking in all bands

 

Are there plans to get the QRP Balloon tracker to track in all bands. I have been testing th U4 propagation in bands other than 20m I understand the tracker is scraping data from WSPRNet in the 20 m band only. Can this be expanded as i am getting better propagation in the 10m band at present. This means my antenna elements can be reduce to 2.5 m each.

Don't be afraid to fly the U4B on 20m . It has been extensively tested on that band and the tracking infrastructure is in place. We know through testing, 20m tracks all over the world.? Your antenna weight savings on 10m will be minimal.

Yes I second what Dave said, 20m is great.?

Nevertheless it IS my intention to enable the QRP Labs tracking across all bands. The U4B is already capable of this and the channel system was designed such that with some limitations, you would be able to transmit on multiple bands as the time slots are staggered; for example the time slot for transmitting on 20m will be different to that for 30m, for any given channel.?
