I tested positive for Covid on Sunday after returning from my FDIM/Hamvention trip. The recognition for me came with my significant difficulty breathing. My XYL is a nurse and said I should get a prescription of Paxlovid, a new anti-viral drug. I was not able to get the prescription until late afternoon on Monday. It's a 3-pill dose, 2 times a day, for 5 days and its effectiveness improves the sooner it is taken. I tested negative yesterday and feel much better.
I started feeling better within 24 hours of starting the regimen. If you start to feel symptoms, I suggest you talk with your doctor about Paxlovid. It worked well for me.

I went to Dayton, but pretty much stayed outside and tried to keep my distance. Then I came home and was exposed to Covid by wife. So far, I have tested negative. Waiting for PCR results from this morning.

My first and only known brush with covid-19 a few weeks back resulted in a slightly sore throat, a pounding headache for 3 days, and one night of fever. I didn't get a script for Paxlovid.
For those of you that enjoy measurements, my fitbit watch tells me my long-term resting heart rate is now 9% higher than pre-covid, and I have to take breaks when mowing the lawn. So, don't push yourself too hard...

Do some research on Vitamin C and viral diseases.
Vitamin C is controversial and you'll have to make your own mind up about who to listen to.? My view of the best sources are Fred Klenner, Robert Cathcart, and Linus Pauling.? The first two were MDs and Pauling was a PhD biochemist.? Yeah, that Pauling, the Nobel Prize winner.

I have taken upwards of 10 grams of Vitamin C per day for about 12 years.? I use 1 gram tablets of Ascorbic Acid, which costs less than $0.03 per tablet.
When I catch a cold or flu I take a lot more.? The most I ever took personally was about 140 grams in a day.
If I ever catch Covid-19 I'll run my usual very high doses.? I expect it will help, but if it doesn't I'll head to the hospital.? My mama raised no fools.
Google 'Fred Klenner vitamin c' for history.? Klenner was curing Polio in the midst of the polio epidemic in the late 1940s, using Vitamin C administered intravenously.? He used it on a variety of viral diseases.? Klenner left a legacy of published papers in medical journals and many of them can be found online.? Some people believe his work, some don't.

Generally agree on the Vitamin approach although I could not handle high doses of Vitamin C. Instead the family approach is a bowl of fruit every day. Large pot kept in fridge at all times with as many fruit varieties as I can obtain.
The other powerful medicine is local honey. The beekeeper lives down the road and his bees regularly visit my flowers. His honey cured my hayfever and, I am quite sure, stopped the Covid-19 I suspect I picked up in Feb 2020 from getting too far into the body. I drink herbal tea with honey every day. Don't pick up many infections.

I was reading the posts on this forum and can say i agree with Ward.
My own opinion, the shots and the treatments the hospitals were dishing out didnt help either. I lost a sister this past month to covid? and it was after getting vaxxed. they gave her all sorts of stuff except the ivermectin ,querciten, etc ,and she died in the hospital 4 days later ,from blood clots due from the vaxx.this was proven from the autopsy.the vaxx is as dangerous or more dangerous than the virus. My sister never caught it until she was vaxxed.She finally broke down and took the DAMN vaxx after her employer demanded she take it.
I left forums that had posting police.? they try to start an argument just because you ask a question,or whatever. I agree with Ward. its an opinion. Thats what makes our country Great.
