As I recall, there were various times for the contest, but I can't seem to find those. If this is the case, what are the times?

My 1300Z session :? 5 QSO's , 2 on 20m , 3 on 40m, worked 2 QCX rigs.
Nothing exceptional, were it not for this QSO : I heard OM6TC call CQ on 14060.30, and replied ... and I almost fell off my chair when he sent his power ...
OM Jozef was using no more than ... 64 mW ! (from a "Sputnik" transmitter)

At 1900Z, conditions were miserable.?
20m was completely dead, and I could only work two QRO stations on 40m, no QCX.

Only on for the 1300Z session with my 20m QCX-mini.? One nice QRP to QRP contact with Roland, OE5ARN who was using an SW3B, and two 599 TU type QSOs.? 15 mins of CQ around 14.060 produced nothing despite RBN showing reception around Europe and East Coast US.? So not as good as I might have wished....

Back to 30m for the mid-November session.

I was working yesterday so only managed a few minutes of the 1300 session and worked HB9CLT/P on 20m.? He was doing a sota activation, qrp but don't think it was a qcx.? I was on 40m for the 1900 session and could hear a bit of activity but nobody could hear me.? I had one response to my cq calls but couldn't make out the call sign and he didn't come back again when I tried to clarify it.??

Worked the 0300 session on 40M; only heard a KN5 station calls CQ DX, nothing else. Called CQ a couple of times...nada. I switched to 20M, but the noise level here was pretty bad. Gave up.

Tried the 1300 and 1900 segments on 20 with no results.? Running just under 5W on a mini to an indoor vertical (QRP Guys' "DS-1").? I checked RBN to see if I was getting out and was heard with a fairly weak signal throughout the midwest.? Only heard one or two other QRP stns.

Hello group,

it was my first QCX challenge party with my new QCX mini. I went to the forest hill nearby ( in KO24OP) on this ocasion and put up a home made 20m EFHW antenna. The conditions during the 13GMT session were poor. I have made 5 QSO's though, 3 of them QRP-QRP but non was QCX-to-QCX. Calling CQ QCX produced one or two contacts but they were not QCX. The RBN showed a nice reception of my 5W accross all West/Central Europe with 8-19dB reports.? Frankly speaking, I was expecting higher activity from the European QCX'-ers ( How many of us we are here? Mine QCX's (factory built) serial number is more than 15000, so maybe some 2 thousands could be in Europe? Just guessing :)) Hope to get in touch with some of you next month! 73! Linas LY2H

I had just completed a QCX Plus 40M build and got the power up around 3W. I worked K0FHGin the 13:00 window who was QRP, but not using a QCX. I did not try any others, as I was eager to finish assembling the kit. I have had several contacts since, mostly due to the SKS event. The new rig is working like a chanm!

I tried the 1300 and 1900 slots on 40m with no success. My cq calls did not register on the RBN network. Also my qcx mini rx decoder does not seem to work, I just get random letters even though I can read the signals by ear, are there any special settings needed to make this work?

Hi Linas,
Welcome to the Challenge. Join the Discord Website as mentioned by Luc. You will get Info there about some QCX QRG or post yours and someone will certainly find you

Ken,
there are some parameters in menu 5 that you can adjust (see Firmware manual ), but my decoder works fine with the default settings.
Try tuning a good strong signal first and check if it works with that. A very weak or noisy signal will often not decode.
