ProgRock as GPSDO

Hello Hans.

Here is a screen capture from a SA of a 10 dbe the precis Mhz from a GPSDO and the measurment from the progrock (its SW ver 1.0) and the window for correction is 1.

Is it what should bede Joe. expected?

TIA

Hi,

I think this is as expected.?

Please set the correction window threshold to zero and try again. It should narrow the green line and centre it on the red one.?

Hello Hans

It is more complicated to get a stable and meaningful trace on a SA with the output 'jumping' every second but comparing the? XY trace on a scope shows a 2-3 Hz (and sometimes as much as 5 Hz) difference (the Progrock being lower freq. than the GPSDO 10 Mhz).

Hi Joe,

I¡¯m not sure if we are talking about the same thing or not, but my ProgRock GPS 10Mhz reference oscillator pulses on the scope. It seems that the power supply I use has a effect on this pulsing output. Switching supplies seem to cause the problem while battery supply works great. I¡¯m still not sure how accurate it is, but it seems pretty good.
