USBC connector not installed correctly on QMX+

Just received my QMX+ Rev 2 and started putting it together. However, under further inspection, I am a bit concerned about how the USB-C connector does not appear to be fully soldered on. I would expect that the holes and pins on the pads (circled below) should be covered by solder, but in fact this is not the case.
?
Should I be concerned? If this is something I have to fix, can anyone reccommend the soldering settings I should use if they differ from the rest of the board?
?
?
Thank you!

Mine came like that, too.? The surface mount soldering happens on the top of the board for those pins, so often it will not fill through to the bottom. Also note that all QMX+ r2 go through firmware loading and sone level of test at the factory, so the USB port was functional to do that.
So it will likely work fine.? I wouldn't worry unless it starts giving you problems?

My QMX looked exactly the same and worked with no issues. As others have said the primary solder pad / connection is on top of the board.

The pin-in-paste method is used for this connector instead of (selective) wave soldering. Therefore one step less is needed during the PCBA production.
Due to this method less tin can be seen on the connector pins but the connections are okay. If not, than you can manually solder these pins again but the pins are very close together so I would only do this if you have a problem with the USB connection.

I think they are all this way. I own 3 of them and they all look the same but work.
?
Adding a wave step would add more cost per board. V 2.0 is shipped with firmware loaded so
the port is tested.

The USB port is tested on all PCB revisions of QMX and QMX+. Not just QMX+ Rev2.

I concur, I have built 6 QMXs so far and none of them have ever had an issue with the USB-C connector.?
