New pre-built QMX+: TX on digital (FT4/FT8) not working

Hello,
? ? ? ?I recently got my pre-built QMX+ and have had no success getting it to transmit on digital modes.? It took me a while to find a USB-A to USB-C cable that would do both audio and serial connections.? With the working cable I can tune via CAT, and receive audio, but my TX has zero output.? I verified my power supply is 12v and it will put full output power into a dummy load in CW mode.? I'm trying this from both a Win 10 system and a Fedora Linux system with the same results.? Are there any items in configuration that I need to change?
?
I've been using my QDX for a long time and am pretty familiar with how it operates.? I made sure to read through the manual (did I admit that in public?) and futz with the menu items before reaching out to those smarter than myself.
?
Thanks
Aaron

I'm not sure if you are aware of these indicators, which may help:
When you tune or otherwise turn on tx from wsjt-x, do you see a small dot appear under the 'A' vfo indicator on the QMX??
Or do you see two dots?
One dot means that the QMX got the tx CAT command.
Two dots means that the QMX is also seeing a low-level audio signal in its internal 'soundcard'.
It will change to a line (meaning the third dot between the other two gets filled in) if the audio volume level from the PC output is strong enough, and start transmitting.? You should set the control for the QMX audio output from the PC to 100%.
