QDX-M LPF Question

Gents,
?I am building a QDX-M for a ham and ran into a snag.
L4 and L10 have changed in the build from the black T37-10's to a Yellow mix but the build guild has not been updated. Does anyone know what the inductance should be with the new mix? I tried to contact Hans but he must be busy.

The toroids in the low pass filters in the QDX-M are the same as the ones in the QDX for the band you are building. So are the capacitors. You can get the specs from that manual. Also, new QDX-M kits may only contain the smaller 0.33mm (aka #28) wire, a change that is being made across the QRP Labs kit line for the 5W radios (all versions of the QCX, QDX, and QMX). I expect that the 50W amplifier kit will continue to come with thicker wire.

The mix of toroid is different than T37-10 listed in the QDX/-M build guides. This is what looks like a T37-6 but has a blue back on it, I do not know what if anything the blue marking changes. I was told it was a change to the build but the guide had not been updated. I was only asking here with hopes someone might know what the change is. I would just wait it out but this is for another ham.

Never mind, looks like the newest QDX guide (I clicked one rev back) has the yellow/blue T37-17. Thank you Shirley for bringing that to my attention.

Hi
Now I prefer to use QMX+ LPFs and BPFs

I used the 6m setup from QMX+ on QDX-M
worked beautifully
