QMX VFO

It seems if I enable Rx Outside Band, it works. But from then on both VFO's get messed with.?
What was in VFO A or B may change upon Power Down. After power up, I may see a different a
frequency in either VFO.
Example:
Factory Reset
Both VFO's have 14.074.00 in them
Enable Rx out of band
No change in VFO's
Now I put 15.000.00 in VFO A
I leave VFO B alone
I do Shut down
Wait 10 seconds
Do QMX Start up
Now notice VFO A and B both show 14.074.00
Same result using VFO B

Hello Don I'm struggling to reproduce any issues that you stated.? Firstly yes, RX out of band must be enabled. Because 15 MHz is out of band. Any attempt to load a 15 MHz frequency preset into the VFO will be ignored unless RX Out of band is enabled.? Loading presets loads into the currently selected VFO; which is either VFO A, or B, or when in Split mode, it is? loaded into VFO A. It doesn't load the preset into both VFO A and VFO B at the same time.? When I switched on and off, everything came back as I had left it before shutting down. No VFO's?were messed with.? Note 1: "shut down" means pressing and holding the volume knob. It is at THIS point that the radio state is saved. If you power down using the switch on your power supply, the microcontroller doesn't know your intentions and doesn't save radio state.? Note 2: 15 MHz by the default Band Configuration table set up, is in the 17m band not 20m band.? 73 Hans G0UPL On Wed, Oct 2, 2024 at 4:04?AM Don DeGregori via <ddegreg1=[email protected]> wrote:

Hello Don If you log in with a terminal emulator, the band limits are defined in the Band Configuration screen. When you set a frequency by CAT or by selecting a Preset, this table is what's used to determine what band to use. And you can change it if you wish.? 73 Hans G0UPL On Fri, Oct 4, 2024 at 7:48?AM Don DeGregori via <ddegreg1=[email protected]> wrote:
