QMX KY command

Hi

The operating manual for version 21 includes:
"Note: The KY transmit text buffer is 80 characters long."

I am finding that more than about 14 characters are truncated. Am I doing something wrong?

What program are you using to send the KY command??

I just tried?
KY ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABC;

and it worked all the way to the end. I sent this from the "CAT command test" utility in the terminal; that required writing it on three lines, pressing return after each line, because you can only fill up the yellow text entry section of the bottom line of the screen. But that is a limitation of the command entry tool, not the CAT command itself.?

Then to test it completely independently, I opened the Serial Monitor tool of the Arduino IDE and sent the same command from there, and again it did work properly all the way to the end.?

So perhaps there is a 14 character limitation in whatever it is you are using to send messages??

That's what I wasn't doing. I just typed KY<space><long string of text> and only 14 characters were sent. I wasn't looking at the bottom line.
Now I know what to do, I am sure it will work.

Thanks
