Finished QLG2


 

Finished the excellent, expandable kit with one version of the clock. Eliminated the toggle switches and plugged the holes with neat little plugs from Amazon. Got many left over. Want some?

How do you guys handle the antenna for the WSPR beacon?

Not sure I understand your final question?

As far as the clock is concerned I built mine in a plastic case and included an active antenna in the upper rear of the case (but saving several dBs of cable loss). ?Works well indoors?

The clock is just a UTC Ham clock?
My beacons have built in GPS modules that use a bank of active GPS antennas in the roof space which is a bit more stable than the same antenna type in the shack


 

That last question requires a look at my second picture:
The single round hole is for power in. The dual nine pin serial port is not connected to anything. I drilled the hole for the SMA coax connector. So, I guess the question should have been, "Does Hans supply a different rear plate with the WSPR kit?"
