I have a QMX here which initialises after being switched on. The display then only shows 03,550,000 CW 24. The serial interface appears as COM3 or fttyACM0: USB ACM device under both Windows and Linux. But access is not possible. hterm for example freezes. No button responds and the encoders do not work either. Firmware is 1_00_014. To switch off, I can only disconnect the 12V.?

Any hints?

why only 1_00_014 and not 1_00_017?
Which version of Win?
I would install the newer version. This should include a factory reset. You could do this by forcing the QMX to update via the hardwareoption (see manual).
