Is there any way to tell the QDX to key-down and just send a carrier?
I've just finished building Dave Cripe's QRPometer+.? To calibrate it, I need to send a constant carrier and measure a voltage on a test pad in the QRPometer.
When I send an INFO message from JS8CALL to the QDX and into a dummy load, I'm getting a voltage measurement that indicates an output of 3.6 watts.? The documentation that I received with the QDX indicates 4.6 watts at 12.0 volts (which is what I'm powering it with - exactly 12.0 volts).??
I'm wondering if my measurement is low because of a less than 100% duty cycle, hence my asking about the ability to just send a constant carrier.
