QMX (20-10, 1_00_017 fw) RIT dissapeared
Hello, |
I'm having the same problem with my QMX as well. Is there a setting I'm overlooking? Don WA2SWX On Sat, Mar 9, 2024 at 10:55?AM <oh2jxa@...> wrote:

Yes. No luck. I saw an earlier post where one person found bad solder flows on pins 92 and 93 of the MPU and reflowed them and it worked. I'm going to check to see if that is the case with mine. 73 Don WA2SWX? Continuation of a story. After the sudden strange disappearance of the ability to turn on the RIT, returning to factory settings and reаflashing the firmware did not help. Checking the resistor and conductivity of the line from the button to the processor did not show any problems. An unclear situation, short and long presses work, as they should, double click - no reaction. When I increased the click time from 300 to 500 ms, I was able to turn on the RIT after 3 attempts. Now the RIT turns on after 3-5 or more attempts, better than nothing :) The next step is replacing the button. I plan to connect another button in parallel to the questionable one for testing, but that will happen in a few weeks. |
