QCX-Mini Outstanding on Winter Field Day

There is very little chatter about the QCX-Mini more about QMX issues.? I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the outstanding performance I received this past weekend for Winter Field Day.? ?Due to poor weather conditions in NNJ that weekend I opted to work from home with the Mini's for 40 & 20 Meters.? I was able to get 180 QSO's over a 15 hour operation period.? For the most part all CO's I heard I was able to establish a QSO.? So BIG PROPS to the QCX-Mini product line.? Still rock solid.?

Hi Ernie - Were you operating as N2DGO? I checked my WFD database to see if you were one of our 105 CW contacts from MDC and no joy. -Sandy KB3EOF operating as K3ERM from MDC.

Many thanks Ernie

QCX is a great and very special radio. Despite all the advantages of the QMX I am absolutely intending to keep the QCX+ and QCX-mini going for as many more years as possible. They still have good sales. I think there's always a place for a single band analog CW transceiver and with over 20,000 sales the QCX-series is now legendary. It always gives me a special kind of happiness operating with mine.?

Sandy I only had 1-MDC QSO, which was not yours.? To bad.? 40-Meters was kind of long for me that weekend.
