Although I'm enjoying the build of the QMX (PCB1 version), and all seemed to be going well and clean, until page 29 where i failed the continuity test.? At points A1 and A2 (i used red numbers for this exhibit), I get a quick 'dit' with the DMM, but just very quick and tough to duplicate. I find that odd.? And then A3 to the other A's nothing, open....??
Inspecting all other joints and components, I didn't notice poor work, in my opinion... (I'll check again of course).
So, my hope is that maybe before i resolder the BS170 connections, perhaps others had this happen and can provide any tips just in case there were other areas I should focus on before i go thru the effort of resoldering the BS170s.. I don't feel I've overtighted the nut/screw/washer, but I'll try loosening and see it and try again, just in case.
Perhaps there are other test points to see if I maybe have a bad component before i go nuts resoldering joints....
Thanks for any help, and I think I should remedy this before going forward.
