The short was in the processor.
I've ordered another kit!

Hi, thank you very much. I think I do have the same problem. So I will solder a new STM32. The question is, how to get the initial boot loader?

I had a working qmx and a jumper shorted it out. I had another qmx kit and removed the processor and installed it on the bad board. All works except no audio. I am trying to figure that out!?
So the processor can be replaced.? Mouser has it for about $12 bucks. So it is possible to replace the processor with a microscope.? Tiny stuff to be sure.

Pretty sure you can't do this because of how the firmware is encrypted. The bootloader needs to be installed by Hans.

I did have to reinstall the firmware software. the qmx drive showed up and I copied the firmware onto it and it installed per the manual. Then the screen display turned on and it installed the firmware and rebooted and works.
Except for my Audio.??
